National Flag & Civil Ensign [Ratio 1:2]
The Canadian civil ensign was created in 1892. The design used during World War II was introduced on 21 November 1921. The maple leaves changed from green to red in 1957 and the flag was finally replaced by the modern flag in 1965.

Naval Ensign [Ratio 1:2]
The Royal Canadian Navy used the British naval ensign until 15 February 1965. Its ships were differentiated by the Canadian blue ensign being used as a jack. In 1965 the new national flag became the naval ensign.

Government Ensign & Naval Jack [Ratio 1:2]
The Canadian government ensign also came into being in 1892, and the design of the badge matched that on the civil ensign.
