Kingdom of Cambodia [Ratio 2:3]
The flag of the Kingdom of Cambodia from 29 October 1948 until 13 January 1976 was the same as today's flag. The temple in the middle is Angkor Wat. Except for a period under UN control Cambodia has always used the temple on its flag,




Khmer Republic [Ratio 2:3]
The Khmer Republic effectively controlled the country from 9 October 1970 to 17 April 1975.




Democratic Kampuchea [Ratio 2:3]
When the Communists won control of the country , a new flag was introduced on 15 January 1976. This featured a gold "temple"silhouette on a red field, similar to the flag of Viêt Nam. The Communists also changed the name of the country to Democratic Kampuchea.
